If you are planning to take the 2026 Pearson Edexcel GCSE Chinese (1CN0) exam in the UK, the earliest exam dates are as follows (based on the official timetable, applicable to exam centres in the UK, excluding overseas iGCSE).

Release of Basic Information | 22 November 2026 | Official start of registration (Registration is usually handled collectively by the school for day school candidates. Private candidates must contact an exam centre or Chinese school themselves). |
Normal Registration Deadline | 21 February 2026 |

Start of Late Registration | From 22 February 2026 | Both types of candidates may register late, with an additional fee. |
Final Deadline for High Late-registration Fee | 22 April 2026 | Final chance to register. Please arrange as early as possible. |
Paper 2 Speaking Exam | March-April 2026 |

Paper 1 Listening Exam | 11 May 2026 | Same time across the whole UK. |
Paper 3 Reading Exam | 11 May 2026 | Same time across the whole UK. |
Paper 4 Writing Exam | 18 May 2026 | Same time across the whole UK. |
